BUGSOFT OTHELLO IS RE-RELEASED
BugSoft have just re-release the 1995 smash Othello. This tiny MS-DOS game was first released at Wilmorton College, Derbyshire (England), when BugSoft was just starting life in the software world. Othello was played by many students at the college, with many copies given to students for a 50p charge (to cover disk costs). Now people can download the game for FREE!

A game of Othello in progress.
HOW BUGSOFT GOT IT'S NAME
Many of you will be wondering how BugSoft got it's name. Well, it's not because we produce software with lots of bugs - it actually got it's name from a postcode. Wilmorton College had the postcode DE24 8UG, making the 8UG bit remind people of the word BUG. From this, BugSoft was formed.
WANT TO JOIN BUGSOFT?
Any ace programmers out there who want to join (or even create) a BugSoft development team, please e-mail us.
If you want to create a new development team, please send us:
- An e-mail address, so we can contact you for future reference
- Your software development plans
- What type of software you specialise in (eg. games, applications, utilities, humour, fonts, etc.)
However, if you just want to join an existing development team, please send us:
- An e-mail address, so we can contact you
- Your software development plans
- What type of software you specialise in
- Which development team you'd like to join
Remember, your software must be free. IT'S IMPORTANT!! We also recommend you put your name(s) in the program, so we know it's not someone else's program (or illegal for that matter) - if you can send the source code this will reduce the delay time from receiving your program to placing it on the BugSoft Download Page. Any illegal software sent to us will be passed over to FAST (Federation Against Software Theft) and/or FACT (Federation Against Copyright Theft). You have been warned.
3D NOUGHTS & CROSSES JOINS THE RE-RELEASES
BugSoft have just added 3D Noughts & Crosses to the re-release list. The game, which was first released in February 1996, has always wanted to rival Othello in the playability stakes. Now, with it's re-release, it may just get it's chance.

Can 3D Noughts & Crosses rival Othello?
